Auris Minerals’ drilling has returned with high-grade gold and significant levels of base metals and manganese from priority targets at its Morck Well Project in Western Australia’s Bryah Basin.

Air core drilling over the Jacques East prospect yielded high-grade gold results including 15m @ 4.11g/t Au from 35m and 10m @ 1.49g/t Au from 45m, with high-grade mineralisation now defined over 70 metres laterally on section and remaining open in multiple directions for up to 400 metres.

And from the McLean Well prospect, strikes of 74m @ 12.9% Mn, 35m @ 1.05% Zn, and 5m @ 1.46% Pb from 58m further build the allure of base metal and manganese anomalism, returned over an 800-metre strike extent which remains open to the northeast.

Auris Managing Director Mike Hendriks said the company was pleased to report that all results have now been received from its follow up campaign.

Significant results have been returned from drilling completed within the Morck Well Project including significant gold results at Jacques East and base metals and manganese results at McLean Well. Mineralisation at both prospects remain open along strike requiring further evaluation which is a great outcome and provides an exciting opportunity for the company,” Mr Hendriks said.

“The company remains well funded, finishing the 2022/23 financial year with $2.5M. In addition to continuing to extract value from the Bryah Basin projects, the company continues to evaluate at new opportunities,” he added.

More air core drilling is urged along strike from the high-grade gold to evaluate the extent of the supergene enriched zone and test for bedrock sources as Auris continue to understand the controls on mineralisation.

Auris is not done looking for new opportunities will continue to advance its high-priority Bryah Basin targets while keeping an eye open for complementary assets to its landholdings in the heart of the highly prospective and largely underexplored mineral field.
