Artemis Resources has delivered another round of shallow and deeper high-grade gold, cobalt and copper assays from Carlow Castle Project with new intersections highlighting the depth potential of the mineralised shear zone system.

The Carlow Castle project currently covers the Carlow Castle South, Quod Est and Carlow Castle South East deposits and lies 35km from its wholly-owned Radio Hill processing plant in the West Pilbara.

The latest results are from the Carlow Castle South East deposit and include 25m at 3.38 grams per tonne gold, 0.24% cobalt, 0.77% copper from 228m including 5m at 9.62 grams per tonne gold, 0.65% cobalt, 0.79% copper from 238m.

The latest results continue to support our view that there are multiple mineralising events and deeper extensions existing within the larger Carlow Castle system,” Artemis’ Chief Executive Officer Wayne Bramwell said.

“Artemis is on track for a resource update in Q4 and post this, additional extensional and in-fill drilling is planned to define the broader scale and the internal controlling structures of this emerging gold-cobalt-copper deposit.”

The objective of the drilling campaign at Carlow Castle was to infill and extend the 1.2 km east-west strike and seek to join Quod Est, Carlow Castle South and Carlow Castle South East into one larger resource.

The east-west trend remains open along strike with today’s results confirming the depth potential in the eastern end of the system.

Shares in Artemis were at 20c in Tuesday morning trade.
