Decmil awarded $75 million BHP contract - The Pick Online Magazine

Decmil Group Limited (ASX: DCG) has landed a $75 million contract for the upgrade and expansion of Mulla Mulla village in Western Australia for BHP Billiton Iron Ore Pty Ltd.

The contract work, awarded to wholly-owned subsidiary Decmil Australia Pty Ltd will support current operations at Mining Area C and the future proposed South Flank project.

Group Managing Director and CEO, Mr Scott Criddle said the contract award follows the successful delivery of other project works at major WA Iron Ore sites, including a $13 million civil and initial works contract awarded in August 2017.

Decmil has achieved great success in delivering complex projects across the region, reinforcing our expertise and 40 years of experience as a sector contractor.

“We look forward to further solidifying our growth path and long-standing relationship with BHP,” Mr Criddle said.

The works are expected to commence immediately.
