Forrestania Resources’ has identified multiple promising outcrops with strikes up to 100 metres long across newly acquired Breakaway Dam and Alexandra Bore tenements, previously untouched by lithium exploration in the Eastern Goldfields.

Mapping of pegmatites at the Bonnie Vale area has added excitement with the likely future drilling targets proximate to F re Battery Metals’ recent high-end spodumene intercepts, which boasted strikes up to 27m @ 1.32% Li2O from 64m and 29m @ 1.36% Li2O.

Forrestania optioned an exclusive two-year deal with Outback Minerals to acquire the tenements, a decision that Managing Director Michael Anderson said already appears justified.

The confirmed presence of multiple pegmatite outcrops, some up to ~100m in strike length, provides us with additional confidence in the discovery potential on these tenements. We are prioritising our activities to prepare for a maiden drilling programme, as soon as possible,” Mr Anderson said.

Eastern Goldfields

The explorer believes the 18 tenements that comprise its Eastern Goldfields asset are highly prospective for a range of commodities, holding a particular shine for lithium, gold, rare earth, and copper.

Faithful to its earth, the region is known for significant gold deposits and has been a historically productive area for mining. The site is known to host several lithium deposits, primarily associated with pegmatite mineralisation, and ongoing exploration continues to reveal heightened lithium potential.

Next steps

Forrestania will focus on gold and copper at its newly acquired tenements, where more mapping and samp are planned to define targets for maiden drilling.

Further trips are planned to Bonnie Vale and the Balarky prospect, and assays are now awaited before the next exploration stage.
