Musgrave Minerals Ltd (ASX: MGV) has confirmed the discovery of a new Link-lode at its 100% owned Break of Day deposit on the company’s flagship Cue Gold Project in Western Australia.
Musgrave Managing Director Rob Waugh said that recent RC drilling focussed on testing the newly named high-grade “Starlight” link-lode at Break of Day has returned consistent, high-grade gold results in drilling where the mineralisation remains open in all directions.
“The new Starlight link-lode at Break of Day continues to deliver fantastic high-grade results and is expected to grow significantly with further drilling,” Mr Waugh said.
“The gold mineralisation at Starlight remains open in all directions including up-dip as it extends near surface.
“The identification of multiple individual lodes within this link position is significant and will enhance the upside potential of this new discovery.”

Mr Waugh said to date assays have been returned over a strike length of 75m, with the high-grade mineralisation remaining open in all directions and planning is now underway for further follow-up RC and diamond drilling at the Starlight link-lode to commence in April.
The Break of Day gold deposit currently has a resource estimate of 868kT @ 7.2g/t Au for 199koz contained gold, while the surrounding Cue Gold Project hosts total resources of 6.45Mt @ 3.0g/t Au for 613koz and includes Break of Day and the Lena deposit located 130m to the west.
The Cue Project is located in the Murchison district of Western Australia where the company has defined a +28km- long prospective gold corridor that includes the Lake Austin North and Mainland-Consols gold discoveries.
