Warriedar Resources (ASX: WA8) has commenced diamond drilling at Ricciardo within its Golden Range Project, located in the Murchison region of Western Australia.
The diamond drilling programme of approximately 1,900m is targeting extensions to high-grade shoots, overall growth of mineralisation envelope and enhanced understanding of structural controls.
It is the first diamond drilling undertaken at the 2.3km long Ricciardo deposit by any operator
The 2024 RC drilling to date at Ricciardo has demonstrated high-grade extensions and delineated significant additional mineralisation outside the current Mineral Resource envelope, with mineralisation remaining open at depth.
Ricciardo sits in the middle of the 25km-long ‘Golden Corridor’ at Golden Range, which hosts six discrete deposits (18 historic pits) that are all open at depth and possess immediate growth potential.
In mid-May Warriedar announced drilling at the Ricciardo had extended a high-grade shoot below the Ardmore pit and broaden the mineralisation envelope. Drilling continues to demonstrate the outstanding Mineral Resource growth potential that exists at Ricciardo and along the broader ‘Golden Corridor’ trend.
