Ardiden Limited (ASX: ADV) has drilled further wide mineralised intersections in the latest 16 exploration drill holes, further illustrating the belt scale potential across the Western Hub of its Pickle Lake Gold Project.

Ardiden’s district-scale 1,088 sq. km gold landholding is located east of Red Lake in the well-endowed Uchi Geological sub-province of north-western Ontario, Canada.

Highlights:

Thick mineralised intersection in hole DB22- 01 of 8.5m @ 4.05 g/t Au from 92.5m at the Dobie Deposit is in keeping with historical estimates

  • Within a broader mineralised envelope of 26.51m @ 2.1g/t Au from 77.8m

Dorothy Deposit intersection in hole DR22-02 of 2.48m @ 3.40g/t Au from 50.52m, was slightly below historical estimates

  • Within a broader mineralised envelope of 38.48m @ 0.97g/t Au from 50.52m1

Tonsil Deposit intersected high grade mineralisation consistent with the Golden Patricia formation: DD22-02 0.86m @ 62.8 g/t Au from 115.0m; DD22-14A 0.5 m @ 8.68 g/t Au from 64.62m; and DD22-13 0.5m @ 3.21 g/t Au from 60.00m

These results confirm our targeting strategy along the Golden Patricia trend and supports our broader vision for what we anticipate at Pickle Lake as we better understand the controls of gold mineralisation and work towards opportunities to make significant discoveries,” Ardiden Exploration Manager, Haydn Daxter, said.

“These new results allow us to build confidence around our geological model. The remaining 11 completed holes from the Western Hub drill programme are expected to be reported in October as final assay results arrive from Canada and are analysed.”

Conceptual drill targeting across multiple prospects was based on historical results combined with the company’s geological modelling.

Permitting

A suite of new exploration work permits from the Ministry of Mines, means Ardiden has a fully permitted strike length of 20km along the Western Hub with highly prospective brownfields gold mineralisation opportunities in this portion of its +100km-wide gold project.

“The team is extremely pleased that work permits are being awarded to the company without delay which is built largely on Ardiden’s regular consultation with First Nation groups and other stakeholders across the area, and our willingness to accommodate cultural and seasonal traditions in designing our work activities across the expansive gold project,” Mr Daxter said.

“Ardiden now has a large choice of areas to work, and we are continually pursuing opportunities to engage with local services and labour as part of our ESG initiatives in Ontario, Canada.”
