DMC Mining has shown early exploration potential on its sizable Fraser Range lithium tenements throughout the Fraser Range in Western Australia’s southern region.
Geological and geochemical data combined with a remote sensing spectral review shows outcrops bearing geological similarities to significant lithium discoveries on nearby projects.
The patchy data indicate minor, discrete anomalies for Li supported by telling exhibits of elevated associated pathfinder elements (Rb, Be).
The Company said the review established an excellent starting point to commence a Li-focused field survey with the surrounding tenement package to the south showing several Li occurrences underpinning the area’s potential.
DMC has taken advantage of the available exploration data to date to allow an additional exploration potential upside to its wholly owned Frasers Range tenement package,” Executive Chairman David Sumich said.
“Given the impressive package size in such a significant mineral province, these early exploration indicators will help the company hone in on targets to understand the extent of Li potential within the Frasers Range tenements.”
Next Steps
Planning of field reconnaissance mapping of exposed outcrops is underway.
About DMC Mining
DMC Mining is a dedicated critical metals explorer in Western Australia. The large tenement holding (~1,050km2) throughout the Fraser Range and at Ravensthorpe is located at the margins of the Yilgarn Craton, where numerous world-class deposits have been discovered.
As a nickel explorer, DMC provides investors excellent exposure to the growing demand for EV battery metals.
Debuted on the ASX in late 2021, the Company is focused on delivering on its exploration programmes and providing tangible results for investors. Our modern approach to critical metals exploration will result in a more streamlined and cost-efficient exploration process that will ultimately deliver higher returns for investors.
