Fe Limited (ASX: FEL) has secured the services of experienced iron ore executive Jeremy Sinclair as Projects Director to drive the company’s recently announced iron ore asset acquisitions forward into production.

Mr Sinclair is a mining engineer, with 25 years experience across a variety of commodities, including more than 10 years at Atlas Iron during which he played a key role in the successful development and operation of five iron ore mines as General Manager Pilbara Operations and then Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Atlas he held management roles in Rio Tinto’s Pilbara Operations.

FEL Chairman Tony Sage said Mr Sinclair’s services are provided via ValMax, who are also managing the Robe Mesa Pre Feasibility Study for CZR Resources Ltd.

As I mentioned recently when we acquired our interest in the JWD Deposit our key focus is to continue to build out an experienced management team to deliver on the potential of the assets we are assembling and the addition of Jeremy is a big step forward for us in that regard,” Mr Sage said.

“His experience in developing and operating numerous iron ore mines complements our existing commercial and geological skills and positions us well to advance our projects towards production.”

In mid-September Fel announced it was moving toacquire a 51% interest in the Gold Valley Iron Ore (GV) Mining Rights Agreement over the Wiluna West JWD deposit wholly owned by GWR Group Limited.

The project has been estimated to contain total mineral resource of 10.7 Mt @ 63.7% Fe, 2.8% SiO2, 1.5% Al2O3.
