Silver and base metals explorer Iltani Resources Limited (ASX: ILT) has obtained outstanding results from the initial seven drillholes of the Orient West JORC Infill drilling program at its Orient Silver-Indium Project in Herberton, North Queensland.

“These are fantastic results from our first seven holes of the planned 42 hole JORC Infill RC drilling program at Orient West. Multiple holes delivered material intersections, and it was particularly good to see the continuity of the high-grade silver-lead-zinc-indium mineralisation across multiple areas with mineralisation extending from surface to in excess of 230m down-dip (and remaining open at depth), confirming the potential for underground mining,” Managing Director, Donald Garner, said.

“It is also pleasing to see both Orient West and Orient East consistently delivering high-grade mineralisation. Orient West and East are greater than 2km apart demonstrating the size and scale of the Orient System and its potential to host a material silver-lead-zinc-indium deposit.

“As we advance forward in 2025, with the completion of the Orient East Exploration Target in early February and the restart of drilling in March, we believe the pathway we are on to delivering Australia’s largest silver-lead-zinc-indium deposit will become clearer.”

. Material results include:

o ORR062: 7m @ 203.6 g/t Ag Eq. from 54m inc. 3m @ 403.7 g/t Ag Eq. from 57m downhole.

o ORR065: 4m @ 261.2 g/t Ag Eq. from 38m inc. 2m @ 464.1 g/t Ag Eq. from 40m plus 7m @ 93.2 g/t Ag Eq. from 95m inc. 2m @ 215.7 g/t Ag Eq. from 100m downhole.

o ORR066: 3m @ 403.6 g/t Ag Eq. from 28m inc. 1m @ 1118.7 g/t Ag Eq. from 29m downhole plus 7m @ 313.7 g/t Ag Eq. from 104m inc. 3m @ 660.9 g/t Ag Eq. from 105m inc. 1m @ 1052.9 g/t Ag Eq. from 106m downhole.

o ORR067: 5m @ 369.3 g/t Ag Eq. from 185m inc. 2m @ 825.4 g/t Ag Eq. from 187m downhole.

o ORR068: 9m @ 391.9 g/t Ag Eq. from 90m inc. 3m @ 916.3 g/t Ag Eq. from 91m inc. 1m @ 1933.4 g/t Ag Eq. from 93m and 9m @ 112.4 g/t Ag Eq. from 166m inc. 3m @ 206.7 g/t Ag Eq. from 172m downhole.

Mr Garner said shallow high-grade intersections have enhanced the potential of Orient West to develop an open pit resource encapsulating the broader more moderate grade mineralised zones.

Continuous high-grade mineralisation has been defined over 230m down-dip, to a vertical depth of 180m, and remains open down-dip demonstrating the potential for UG mining.

An Orient West JORC Infill drilling programme is set to restart in March 2025, subject to the end of the wet season in Northern QLD.

Orient East Exploration Target remains on track for delivery in early February 2025.
