Golden Rim Resources’ wholly-owned Kouri gold project in Burkina Faso continues to bear fruit with further high-grade gold hits from its resource definition drilling program.
Infill and extensional resource drilling has now been completed over approximately 1.5km of the Guitorga Lodes which extend for a total strike length of over 3km.
Results continue to confirm the presence of multiple high-grade gold zones along the Guitorga Lodes.
Latest high-grade intercepts include 12 metres at 7.8 grams per tonne gold from 77m including 4m at 21.2gpt gold and 4m at 20gpt gold from 23m including 1m at 76.4gpt gold.
Deeper drilling has further extended the known depth of the Guitorga Lodes to 180m below surface with mineralisation remaining open at depth.
Golden Rim has now received all assay results for its recently completed diamond drilling program and its reverse circulation (RC) holes completed to date, being 8,900m of the planned 15,000m RC drilling program.
The remaining 6100m of the planned RC drilling program will be completed by Ausdrill under its US$1m drilling for equity agreement with Golden Rim.
The company will look to extend the current RC drilling program to further delineate and expand zones of high grade gold mineralisation prior to release of mineral resource estimate in early 2018.
Shares in Golden Rim imbed 8 per cent, or 0.3c, to close at 4.2c.
