Rebounding confidence in the oil and gas sector is producing some unmissable stories at the 2018 RIU GoodOil conference, which will be held at the Hyatt Regency Perth, 12-13 September.
Oil bulls will be keenly awaiting a presentation from Adrian Cook, managing director of Carnarvon Petroleum (ASX:CVN), which has seen its shares spike to over 60 cents per share off the back of home-town offshore oil discoveries.
Producers are also enjoying improved conditions, with Beach Petroleum (ASX:BPT) recently posting a near doubling of sales revenue which has seen underlying net profit skyrocketing 86% from the previous year to over $300 million.
Jeff Schrull, group executive of exploration and development will be discussing the emerging player’s stunning growth in what it is dubbing a “transformational” year.
RIU GoodOil 2018 will also feature cutting edge analysis form the likes of Michael Eidne, director of research at Perth-based stockbrokers Argonaut and a rare look to the future on Trump, China and electric vehicles from Westpac Institutional Bank director of economics, Justin Smirk.

The event will even feature a discussion on the latest energy-producing technology from low cost, low-emission hydrogen and graphite disruptor, Hazer Group (ASX:HZR).
