Pilbara Resource Group (PRG) has further strengthened its impressive capabilities with the appointment of Allen Armstrong as Fixed Plant, Rail and Infrastructure Specialist.
According to the company Mr Armstrong will drive the development of PRG’s rail arm as part of the company’s strategic expansion of its offering to clients across the mining and resources sector.
Analytical thinking, the ability to achieve optimum occupational health and safety outcomes and maximum accountability are the hallmarks of Mr Armstrong’s successful 25-year career.
Having led teams and provided advice for companies including Aurizon Coal, BHP Billiton and Fortescue Metals Group, he is credited with contributing fresh thinking, meticulous planning and cutting edge operational solutions to some of Australia’s highest performing mining projects.
PRG Managing Director, Scott Dryland, said Mr Armstrong’s appointment would enable the company to meet the specific maintenance and operations needs of clients with fixed plant, rail, infrastructure and logistics requirements.
