Podium Minerals have achieved breakthrough recoveries exceeding 90 per cent from the optimisation program over its Parks Reef Platinum Group Metals Project 80 kilometres west of Meekatharra in Western Australia.

Through optimisation of its atmospheric leach process, Podium’s ongoing test work has accomplished material improvements in recoveries of platinum, iridium, nickel, and cobalt associated with sulphide ore.
The world-leading recoveries align with the explorer-turning developer’s strategy to optimise returns from the project and its 143Mt @1.3g/t 5E PGM resource.

Our primary focus in the last few months has been to improve metal recoveries, and we can now report a number of exciting successes in this area,” Managing Director and Chief Executive Mr Sam Rodda said.
“Recoveries of greater than 90% have been achieved for both oxide and sulphide ores under certain testing conditions.
“This represents a 30% uplift on previous stated oxide recoveries and an enormous 50% increase in previous reported platinum recoveries.”
