Spread over 120,000 square metres, the facility is the largest heavy engineering facility of its kind in Australia.
SIMPEC has been awarded a mechanical installation works contract by iPilot Australia to install significant automated access systems, dust collection, filtration and recovery equipment and all associated ducting for the facility.
The contract commences imminently with SIMPEC working in partnership with iPilot to deliver the project.
We are extremely excited to be involved in delivering this state-of-the-art facility and also look forward to installing the Australia-first automated access systems,” SIMPEC Managing Director Mark Dimasi said.
“We are looking forward to working closely with iPilot to successfully deliver this project and continuing to build a relationship between our two companies.”
The contract is the first time SIMPEC will work with iPilot with the relationship presenting a number of opportunities for both companies.
By partnering with iPilot, SIMPEC will be able to offer clients end-to-end solutions from cost effective strategic sourcing through to site installation.
